Here at G24i we are personalizing solar energy for the global community. We are the first company in the world to commercially manufacture lightweight, flexible Dye Sensitised Thin Film solar cells at our state of the art facility here in Cardiff.

The key responsibilities for the role are:

• Manage and develop the scale up from prototype to mass production key raw materials.
• Process involves aqueous colloid, specialist dyes and solvents.
• Set up and test support storage tanks for the process
• Develop and define processing, mixing and equipment processing instructions
• In conjunction with external consultants oversee the design and functionality of the equipment
• As part of this process incorporate appropriate H&S requirements and considerations.
• Consider and evaluate all environmental issues and prepare operating statements to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that the materials interact with the process equipment to meet the necessary final product performance targets.

ESSENTIAL

• Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Previous experience of operating with large scale processing equipment
• Experience of achieving successful transition from prototype to scale up

DESIRABLE

• Experience of working with related technology or materials groups
• Experience of coating materials would be valuable
