Here at G24i we are personalizing solar energy for the global community. We are the first company in the world to commercially manufacture lightweight, flexible Dye Sensitised Thin Film solar cells at our state of the art facility here in Cardiff.

The key responsibilities for the role are:

• To design and create innovative electronics based solutions. To optimize or enable the use of our base PV material as energy for portable electronic devices.
• Create mock-ups and proof of concept prototypes and samples
• Develop relationships and work closely with customers to ensure that performance and design expectations are aligned with the product specification.
• Ensure that designs are suitable for high volume manufacture in line with cost requirements.
• Establish clear performance criteria for components/systems and translate these into test standards for manufacturers, suppliers and customers
• Develop, test and fault find diagnostics for trail products and field trails.

If you are of graduate calibre within electronics/electrical engineering with product developments expertise and are capable of leading technical discussions with customers. This experience will have probably been acquired in the consumer electronics sector. Experience designing solar based products would be valuable.
