Process Technician - Electrical

We are now looking for a Process Technician with an electrical bias to join our increasing workforce. If you feel that you have the skills and experience for this role then we would like to hear from you.

The key responsibilities for the role are:-
  • Fault find, programme and repair PLC’s
  • Design and build electrical and electronic circuits
  • Trouble-shoot and modify electronic drives/parameters
  • Maintain production machinery and facilities
  • Ensure maximum machine available time through effective planned preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure through understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
  • Work effectively with contractors and other personnel

Essential:-
  • Familiar with electronic controllers and control systems
  • Electrically or multi-skilled with a strong electrical bias
  • PLC and motor drive systems experience is essential
  • Flexible and willing to learn new processes, adapting to new challenges as they arise.

Desirable:-
  • HNC qualification would be advantageous
  • Knowledge and experience of Siemens and/or Allen Bradley would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of Lenze and Allen Bradley motor drives would be an advantage
  • Time served electrical apprenticeship is desirable.
  • Experience of roll-to-roll machinery and manufacturing would be an advantage
