G24 Innovations has been given final approval to erect a 2.5 megawatt wind turbine at its site in Cardiff, which will generate enough power to run its operations there.
The UK solar energy provider said the new turbine, which has been approved by Cardiff City Council, will enable the company to see through its plan to develop solar power (OTCBB:SOPW) cells solely from renewable energy.
Eliot Abel, G24i's sustainability programmes manager, said: 'We have worked incredibly hard to become a 100 pct green factory and are delighted to have now received full permission to realise this dream. We have the backing of the local government and environmental groups.'
