G24 Innovations (G24i), the global leader in the recycling of light to electricity, has been hailed as a pioneer in the world of wireless power at an international conference in Amsterdam.
At the TEDxROTTERDAM event, celebrated young entrepreneur, Marijn Berk, told leaders in his field that the world is moving towards a wireless future and cited G24i for their inspirational developments.
Marijn, founder of Sool Power, a company specialising in solar powered mobile phone chargers, told over 1,200 delegates at the prestigious conference that companies like G24i are leading the way when it comes to developing this wireless technology.
He identified two key trends which he believes will change the face of technology forever. Firstly that the technology produced by companies like G24i will become ten times more powerful and secondly that electronic devices themselves will require far less power. When these two developments combine, it will completely alter how we use power.
Berk, himself a pioneer of solar technology, said: “The G24i system works in a similar way to the human eye. They both function best in ambient light such as an office or a living room and this is where the majority of electronic devices are commonly used.
“The way that G24i’s Dye-Sensitised Cells (DSC) are able to harvest energy from very low light conditions, both indoors and outdoors, is incredible. They will help shape the future.”
G24 Innovations (G24i) is the global leader in the recycling of light to electricity through the manufacturing of next generation Dye-Sensitised Cells (DSC). This technology has the potential to make disposable batteries obsolete. G24i’s modules are ideal for powering a broad range of electronic devices indoors in variable lighting conditions including ambient light.
